Accidental Death of an Anarchist is a comedic farce by Dario Fo about the real-life suspicious death of a railway worker in 1960s Italy. While lighthearted, the play confronts how easily a government can become an authoritarian regime through the use of lies and brutality. As the costume designer I used the influences of fascist Governments of the time as well as the fashion of corporate establishments in contrast with the trends of countercultures of the 1960s.
